Lindsey Turman, Asst. Principal

I was born and raised in Desoto County. I graduated from Southaven High School in 2001 and returned there to teach after obtaining a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi in Secondary Education. I then went to the Desoto County Alternative Center, where I was a teacher, school counselor, and eventually an intervention specialist. I have two master’s degrees: one from Grand Canyon University in Professional Counseling, and one from Arkansas State University in Educational Leadership. I received a Specialist degree in School Counseling from Delta State University.

I have two dogs: a Pitbull mix named Judy, and a miniature poodle named Skip.

I am excited to be continuing my journey in the education career as an assistant principal at Center Hill Middle School.
