All week long, teachers and staff at CHMS were rewarded with a visit from the snack cart. We have Dr. Melissa of Coldwater, China Taste, Brookside Baptist Church, Center Hill Baptist Church, and CHMS Student Council to thank for our well-stocked snack cart full of delicious treats!

Momma Zinn and her family went ABOVE and BEYOND for CHMS. She provided a huge breakfast spread on Monday, delicious barbecue nachos for lunch on Wednesday, and another amazing lunch including green beans, loaded mashed potatoes, and baked/smoked chicken Friday. She also donated to our snack cart and helped personalize chairs donated by Walmart for every staff member. We are INCREDIBLY thankful for Mamma Zinn and her family for their generosity!

Huge shout-out to Good Guys Lawn Care and Coach Boren for providing/cooking a massive backyard barbecue for the teachers and staff at CHMS for Field Day! We dined on burgers, hot dogs, chicken thighs, mac-n-cheese, potato salad, and several homemade desserts provided by the staff!

CHMS Teacher Appreciation Week May 11th-15th

MyPowerHub is the new interactive communication platform for parents and guardians in the DeSoto County Schools District, consolidating student information into a single, secure location.

You will need a parent account to register your student for the 26-27 school year. The deadline for setting up a Parent Portal is May 1st, 2026

If you already have a Parent Portal account, sign in with your current username and password. Your username is typically your email address.

If you need to create a Parent Portal account, you will need to visit your child’s school and present a photo ID. You will be given the necessary Access ID and Password

Once you have this information, you can create a parent account online, which allows you to link all your children to a single login.

Tuesday was another HUGE showing of our communities support of CHMS teachers. Thank you to Good Guys Lawn Care for having Loveshack Catering bring is such a beautiful breakfast. Thank you to Center Hill Parents for the YUMMY Lasagna. Plus, we appreciate Bradley Auto Glass for keep our teachers going between meals by stocking the teacher snack cart.
