Our school counseling mission is to awaken the greatness in every child . . .
We want to prepare all students to be leaders by teaching them the importance of respect, integrity, self-discipline, and kindness for their classmates and their community. We are committed to providing a comprehensive school-counseling program to assist students in acquiring and using lifelong learning and coping skills to be proactive leaders in our society.
We strive to serve as advocates for students, allies with teachers, and liaisons with parents.
We want to ensure positive mental health for all students and employees. In order to alleviate any anxiety or stress, mental health resources will be available on the DCS Mental Health website, as well as our own Counselor Resource page.
Please contact your school counselor through email if you have any additional questions or concerns. Counselors will be checking emails periodically throughout regular school hours.
We will respond to any emails as soon as possible. Thank you for all you do each and every day to support your family and community. Stay well and safe! We are ready to see YOU in the hallways again . . .
