Bio
Hey there! My name is Katherine Pace, and I'm a Sped teacher at CHMS! Go Mustangs! I am so excited to be teaching your child this year, and I look forward to helping your student learn!

This is my 8th year teaching, and my fifth year working for Desoto County Schools. I live in Olive Branch with my 7-year-old son, Vaught, my partner Matthew, and our humongous Labrador, Bear. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, walking with Bear, shopping at Target, and spending time with my family. I'm a Rebel for life and attend all the Ole Miss football games in the fall--Hotty Toddy!

I'm a fan of coffee, Lifesaver gummies, and anything dark chocolate :)
I look forward to another amazing year at CHMS!

Writing is FUN!

Me again! I've listed a new document on the left side of the page under the "Lessons from B3" tab called Writing is FUN. I would love to see some of your responses to the journaling prompts I've listed. Journaling a few days a week, even if just for a few minutes, is so healthy for your ever-expanding minds! Please email them to me if you choose to do some writing, or write something entirely original on your own! I would LOVE to read your journal entries!

I have been able to touch base with most of your parents regarding your work and assignments that have been assigned during school closure. Please be aware that you/your parent may contact me via email at any time if you need any help at all with your work. I've been following up with your parents as much as possible; please don't hesitate to contact me if you need additional help.

April is Autism Awareness Month!

Happy April, everyone! April is Autism Awareness Month, with tomorrow, April 2nd, being World Autism Awareness Day! See the flyer I've attached under my B3 Lessons tab for ways you can celebrate diversity and bring awareness to autism this month! Your teachers are celebrating from home in support of our students.
