My name is Jonathon Clay, and I was born on November 17, 1983. I am the oldest of three children in my family. I am happily married since May 21, 2011 to my wife, Amber. We have a set of triplets, Olivia, Jackson, and Jason. I enjoy watching and playing sports as well as other outdoor activities such as hunting. After I finished 2 years at Northwest Mississippi Community College from 2002-2004, I attended Mississippi College in Clinton, MS from 2004-2006 where I earned my Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education (7-12) with a minor in Social Studies.  I also earned enough credit hours to be certified to teach English. From October of 2006 to February 2007, I was a 6th grade teacher's assistant at Lewisburg Middle/High School.  For the rest of the 06-07 school year, I taught 10th grade World History at the same school.  From 2007 to 2009, I worked as a Special Education Assistant at Southaven Middle School.  From 2009 to 2018, I taught 7th grade Eastern Hemisphere at Southaven Middle School. From 2018 to 2019, I taught 8th grade ELA at Center Hill Middle School. Presently, I am teaching 6th grade History at Center Hill Middle School.
