Hi! My name is Courtney Barker, and I am so excited to be your child's teacher

As a child, I moved all over the world since my father was a pilot in the Navy.  We lived in California, Texas, and Italy before finally moving to Bartlett, TN.  I attended middle and high school in Bartlett, TN.  I was the RTI Coordinator at Elmore Park Middle School in Bartlett, TN for 2 years.  Before teaching at Elmore Park, I held interim positions at Campus School and Bartlett Elementary.

This is my 7th year at Center Hill Middle School. Go Mustangs!!

I graduated in 2011 from University of Memphis with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (K-6).  Go! Tigers Go! I obtained my Masters of Education in Gifted, Talented, and Creative Curriculum from Arkansas State University.  I completed my Specialist in Education in Educational Leadership in 2023.

My husband, Sean, and I have 5 amazing children!  They keep us really busy. Sean is a teacher and coach at CHHS.  .  We love this community!
