A Little More about Cyber Foundations...

I have taught at CHMS for 14 years, and I am excited to begin the 2020-2021 school year. I enjoy teaching Cyber Foundations. Students will receive 1 Carnegie Unit for completion of this course to go toward high school graduation. This course counts as a Business and Technology Credit; therefore, it will be weighed into a student's GPA.

This school year students will learn to type. Once students have learned to type, we will focus on Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. We will discuss digital citizenship and complete career exploration activities. Students will create a website using html and an interactive gaming card using JavaScript. This class has a lot of real world applications, and students really have a chance to learn a lot about future careers and the technology used in those careers.
